Karnataka DCET 2024

Karnataka DCET 2024 exam will be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority for admission of diploma holder candidates in the second year / third semester of any engineering course under the lateral entry scheme. Every candidate willing to take admission in the engineering course has to appear and qualify the Karnataka DCET exam. Karnataka DCET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Applicants have to ensure that they meet all Karnataka DCET eligibility criteria stated in the official notification in order to be eligible to apply for the Karnataka DCET 2024 exam. To apply for the Karnataka DCET exam, candidates must check the Karnataka DCET Eligibility Criteria given below - 

Karnataka DCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria For B.E Courses 

  • A candidate who has passed any diploma examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45% marks in all subjects of the final year (Fifth and sixth semester) diploma Examination (Q.E) is eligible for admission to B.E courses, and 40% marks in Q.E in the case of SC, ST, and Backward Classes of Karnataka candidates.

Karnataka DCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria For B. Arch Course

Candidates who intend to apply for the B. Arch Course must take the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) administered by the Council of Architecture and obtain a minimum of 40% marks. NATA is compulsory for architecture admission in India. 

Karnataka DCET 2024 Application Form

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will release the Karnataka DCET application form 2024 tentatively in July 2024. Before filling the application form, every candidate is advised to check the eligibility criteria of Karnataka DCET exam. KEA will release the Karnataka DCET application form 2024 in the online mode. The application process consist of two phases where in the first phase students have to enter their data regarding personal information, communication address, education details etc. Candidates can edit / modify / add details in the first phase of application any number of times. In the second phase of the application candidates have to select the declaration after confirming themselves that there are no changes to be incorporated and all the information provided is correct.

Karnataka Examinations Authority will release the Karnataka DCET 2024 syllabus along with the information brochure on its official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The syllabus of Karnataka DCET consists of 5 sections namely Engineering Mathematics, Statistics & Analytics, IT Skills, Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Project Management Skills. Applicants are advised to check the syllabus beforehand to know what to be studied for the examination. By having a comprehensive knowledge of the syllabus, the candidates have a higher chance of scoring well in the exam.

Karnataka DCET Admit Card 2024

Karnataka Examinations Authority will release the Karnataka DCET 2024 admit card for those candidates who have applied for the exam and paid the application fees. To download the admit card of Karnataka DCET exam candidates have to login using their credentials like application submitted department, KEA application number and name of the candidate. The Karnataka DCET admit card will consist of important information like the name of the candidate, roll number, venue of the exam, uploaded photograph and signature and exam date and timings. Every candidate must remember to take a coloured printout of the admit card and carry the same on the day of the exam. 

Karnataka DCET Answer Key 2024

Initially, the provisional answer key of Karnataka DCET 2024 will be released by the authorities in the online mode.
