SNAP 2020 Application Form (Closed)

SNAP 2020 registrations have now been closed. The registration was open till November 28 earlier but candidates were given a 2 days extension by the university. The application dates for SNAP 2020 were extended till 2020 and the registrations have now closed. Registrations for SNAP 2020 commenced on September 24 this year and the exam has been scheduled to be conducted on December 20, 2020, and two additional dates on January 6 & 9, 2021.

Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the SNAP. To register online, the candidates need to enter their name, date of birth, mobile number, email id, etc. Also, they must go through the required documents which should be attached with the application form such as mark sheets, scanned photograph, and signature etc. Checking the SNAP 2020 eligibility criteria will ensure the fulfilment of all the requirements.

Before you apply, please note, you will need:

  • A desktop computer or laptop with a good internet connection

  • A valid Email ID and Contact details

  • A recent scanned photograph in prescribed size and format.

  • All Degree certificates (required to enter the details while filling the application form).

Changes in SNAP Exam 2020

  • SNAP 2020 will be held in a computer-based format. 
  • The fee for application has been increased from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 1750.
  • The option to pay the exam registration fees in cash mode is not available for SNAP.
  • No separate programme fee will be charged.
  • Applicants have the option of choosing three city preferences.

Step by Step SNAP Registration Process 2020

The registration process of SNAP involves three steps i.e Registration, Payment of Fees, and Filling of Application Form. The detailed process of SNAP Registration is given below.

Note: SNAP Application Process 2020 has 2 parts, one for Registration Process and other is Programme(s) Registration. 

Registration:

  • Visit the official website of SNAP i.e https://www.snaptest.org/

  • On the home page of SNAP, there are 2 options will appear i.e 'User login' or 'Register Now'.

  • If you already have an account on the SNAP 2020 portal, then you can directly login or you can register through the official website as a 'New Register’

  • As a new user must click ‘Register’ and start the registration procedure. 

  • Go through all the instructions carefully and click on ‘I Agree’ to start the registration process.

  • Fill in all your personal details like name, date of birth, gender, category, and your valid email ID and mobile number. 

  • Also, fill in your preference for the exam centres. For this year, there are 92 exam cities spread across India.

  • Once you provide all these details, you will be directed to the password generation page. Generate your password and also select a security question that you can easily remember.

  • You will receive a confirmation email on your registered e-mail ID and an SMS on the mobile number that you had given in the registration process. This Email and SMS will consist of your SNAP 2020 ID and password.

Make a Payment of Application Fees:

  • The application fee of SNAP 2020 can be paid either by online mode or offline modes. You can pay through: 

    • Billdesk Payment Gateway 

    • Easebuzz Payment Gateway 

    • Indian Bank Payment Gateway 

    • Demand Draft.

  • The application fee is INR 1750 (non-refundable fee) + GST + Other Tax as per the instructions. 

Online Mode:

  • You can pay through Credit/Debit card should either be Visa or Master card. 

  • You can also transfer the application fee to Symbiosis Test Secretariat account using Net Banking option after the registration. The payment gateways are as follows-

    • Billdesk Payment Gateway 

    • Easebuzz Payment Gateway 

    • Indian Bank Payment Gateway 

Offline Mode:

  • You can also pay through a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 1750 from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune.

  • You must choose the mode of payment as 'DD Payment' in the "Make Payment" Tab. 

  • Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the following address:

Filling the Application Form:

  • After successfully paying the application fee, you will have to complete the online registration form (Part II) for Programme(s) registration and the respective institute(s).

  • A separate non-refundable payment of INR 1000/- per programme per institute has to be made.

  • After that, you will also be required to upload a scanned copy of your photograph which will be printed on the admit card of SNAP. 

  • The photograph should not be more than three months old and should be within the recommended format: 

    • Dimension of Image: 10KB-100KB

    • Format of Image:.jpg/ .jpeg/ .png/ .gif.

  • Now, click on 'submit' tab.

  • Before submitting your application form, ensure that the details you have entered are correct. In case your details are found to be incorrect, the University will cancel your application.

Note: Any Changes in the online application form except the name, date of birth, category, and test city preferences will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration. No changes will be allowed after closure under any circumstances.

How to Pay the SNAP 2020 Application Form Fee?

The SNAP 2020 aspirants have to pay the SNAP 2020 application form fee which is different from the SNAP 2020 registration fee. The SNAP application fee 2020 is an amount payable by the candidates which vary programme-wise and institute-wise. The application fee for SNAP 2020 is expected to remain the same as it was for SNAP 2020.

The SNAP 2020 aspirants can pay the online SNAP 2020 application fee via any of the mentioned modes:

  1. Online- via Axis Bank Gateway, Billdesk Gateway or Indian Bank Gateway
  2. Demand Draft- Through any Nationalised Bank in favour of Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Pune

Benefits of Early SNAP Registration 2020

  • Applicants who complete their SNAP 2020 payment process will be notified their allotted test city through E-mail.

  • This will enable candidates to plan their travel programs accordingly.

  • Those applicants who complete their SNAP 2020 payment or till the last date of Registration will be able to know their allotted test city on the date of SNAP 2020 Admit Card.

Can I Apply for SNAP 2020 Except for the Online Process?

The aspirants can apply for SNAP 2020 only through the online mode. The applicants, however, will be given a choice to either complete both the SNAP 2020 registration process and SNAP 2020 application form at a single go or they can complete both the processes separately. The SNAP offline application procedure was discontinued a few years back. The students must ensure to pay the SNAP 2020 online application form fee otherwise their application form will be considered as incomplete.
