CEED Exam Centres 2024

CEED Exam Centres 2024: IIT Bombay announced the list of cities where CEED 2024 will be conducted. This national-level exam will take place in 27 cities across India, with an increase from the previous 24 cities. Newly added cities include Coimbatore, Ernakulam, and Mysuru. When filling out the CEED 2024 application form, candidates can choose up to THREE exam centres in order of preference. The details of the allotted exam centre, including its name, address, and reporting time, will be specified on the CEED 2024 admit card. The exam is scheduled for January 21, 2024, from 9 am to 12 noon at all the CEED exam centres 2024. Candidates are advised to reach their respective CEED exam centres according to the reporting time mentioned on the CEED admit card.

How are CEED Exam Centres 2024 Allotted?

Mentioned below are the pointers explaining how the exam centres of CEED are allotted to the registered candidates.

  • The CEED exam centres are allotted as per first-come, first-serve basis. 

  • It is not necessary that the candidates get the preferred exam centres only.

  • If the total number of candidates sitting for the exam from a particular centre is insufficient, a different centre would be allocated to the students, based on their second or third preference. The city with the insufficient number of applicants would be dropped from the final exam centres list of CEED.

  • The committee of CEED 2024 has the authority to add a new city or remove an existing one, based on the final strength of candidates. 

  • A city may have more than one exam centre.

  • The request to change the exam centre with the other one in the same city would not be considered under any circumstances.

Exam Day Instructions for CEED Exam Centres 2024

The instructions related to the CEED exam centres that need to be followed are as follows.

  • It is mandatory to carry the admit card of CEED 2024 to the exam centre along with a photo id proof for verification, as without it, the candidate would not be allowed to sit for the exam.

  • The identity proof carried by the candidate must be in original form. No photocopies or digital copies would be accepted by the authorities.

  • It is important to reach the allotted CEED exam centre at least 30 minutes before the appointed time.

  • On the day of the exam, the registered candidate has to proof his/her candidature to the concerned authorities.

  • If the concerned authority has any doubt regarding the test-takers’ identity, there may be a possibility that the student would not be allowed to sit for the entrance exam.

  • Even if the applicant is allowed to sit for the exam after verification, he/she would not be provided extra time to complete the exam.

What to Carry to the CEED Exam Centres?

For the subjective part B of CEED, candidates must bring stationery like pencils, sketch pens, and poster colours to the exam centre. Additionally, it's crucial to remember to bring certain documents to the CEED exam centre 2024:

  • CEED Admit Card: A coloured printout of the CEED admit card is necessary for recording biometric information at the centre.
  • ID Proof: Candidates must have a valid and original photo ID proof, which can be a college-issued identity card, passport, driver's license, PAN card, Voter ID, or Aadhaar card.
  • Stationery: Candidates need to have their stationary items, including pens, pencils, sketch pens, and colours, for the exam.

CEED Admit Card 2024

IIT Bombay made the CEED 2024 admit card available online on January 5 for eligible candidates. To download it, students must use their registered email ID and password on the login page. Students must bring their CEED admit card and a valid ID to the exam venue. No candidate can enter the examination hall without the admit card. The CEED 2024 admit card will contain important details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam cities, reporting time, and exam guidelines.
