A and B are the two sections of CEED. There are objective-type questions in Exam Part A. Questions in Part B put candidates' design, drawing, and writing skills to the test. Candidates are chosen from a shortlist based on their performance in part A of the exam. This indicates that only those applicants who have been chosen for further consideration based on their performance on Part A of the CEED exam are evaluated in Part B. According to the CEED website, Part A will be used to shortlist approximately 10xN candidates for each category if "N" is the total number of seats available in that category across all participating institutes. However, this procedure is only followed if candidates pass Part A of the CEED exam with the minimum required marks or higher.
