As per the exam analysis, a good score in CLAT 2026 will be around 85 - 90 marks. The general category students should aim to score 90+, which is a good score to get into the top 3 NLUs. Similarly, a good score for those belonging to the SC/ ST category will be 60-70. 

A moderately easy paper indicates that a good score in CLAT 2026 would be 80 - 90 marks to get into the top 10 NLUs. Tier-2 and tier-3 NLUs will have lower cutoffs than the top-ranked NLUs. However, the difference in cutoff marks of the top 5-6 NLUs is not as vast as it may appear if we compare it with the previous years' scores. The cutoffs will increase with tougher competition and a higher number of test-takers.
