Strategic Plan to Prepare for CUET 2022 in 8 Days
Provided below are a few tips for CUET 2022 preparation. Candidates are advised to follow the tips given below in order to come out with flying colours in the examination.
Prepare Hour Wise Schedule
Candidates must prepare hour wise timetable for these 8 days. The maximum number of hours should be given for the preparation. Candidates should at least prepare 10 hours schedule. These ten hours should be spent with utmost care using every minute in a fecund manner. Candidates must note that their success in the examination depends on how smartly these 10 hours are being used. It is not possible to revise everything in these allotted hours. So preparing an hour-based schedule will help to yield good results. After every hour of revision, candidates are advised to spend around 30 minutes for attempting a questionnaire on that particular topic. Remember preparing hour wise schedule and following it meticulously will bring prosperous results.
Get your Basics Strong
Students who are preparing for the CUET examination must make sure to get their basic strong. Subjects can be mastered once the basic concepts are learned properly. The depth of various concepts depends on the basics. Once the candidates make their basement strong, they can build on and learn concepts. Hence, the primary basics of the subject are very important and play a crucial role to understand the next level of topics.
Revision Term-II to Term- I
Revision is the heart of preparation for any examination, especially the examination like CUET, which is one of the popular and toughest exams. Revision should not be done randomly without a proper plan. Candidates are suggested to revise all the concepts/units/chapters prescribe in the syllabus in a systematic order. Students are advised to revise the term-2 syllabus first because all the topics are studied or taught recently, they do not require much time. After completing the term-2 topics, candidates can complete the first term topics, which may take a longer time to revise. This should be the revision strategy.
No to New Concepts
Since only 8 days are left for the preparation, candidates are advised not to start learning a new topic. Many educationists suggest that going for learning, a new topic at the last minute will not bring great changes in the results but revising the topics does. So, the candidates are requested not to learn a new topic but rather revise the topics already learnt.
Candidates must make quality preparation rather than quantity preparation. Quality should take over quantity. Quality preparation brings quality results. Trying to complete the entire syllabus and rushing over the syllabus will not fetch good subject knowledge. Hence, candidates must make sure to go through the most important topics first and then the other topics next. Remember a fact that the entire syllabus is prescribed for the exam, not just the important topics.
Analyze the Questions
Analyzing the questions that are practiced during preparation is one of the good study preparation methods. As it is said above after every hour of preparation, 30 minutes should be spent for answering the questions related to the topic. After evaluating those questions, candidates are advised to analyze the question under the concept. In the examination, the same figures or numbers may not come but if the concept is learned by analyzing the question, the concept will help to solve the questions. By analyzing the question, candidates learn to understand the concepts in a more vivid manner.
Analyze your Weakness
A successful person is one who has understood himself in and out, especially his strength and weakness. The perfect study strategy involves in improving the candidates' weak areas of the syllabus or concepts. Candidates should spend a good enough time to work on the weak area of the concepts. Initially, the exam taker must note all the weak areas of the syllabus. Then, they must start working on them. It is said that if anything great should be achieved then the person who got behind the weakness and them stronger. However, most of the students do not follow this principle if followed wonders can be created.
Manage Your Time
Managing time is an art. The art of living depends on how one manages his/her time. Especially in the life of students, their success depends on how well they have spent their time on useful and fruitful things. Time management is a very important aspect for preparation. Candidates must remember that time precious one wasted, cannot be earned like money. Hence, every minute should be regarded as a precious thing and that should be utilized meaningfully and prepared well for the examination. Candidates must note that the duration of the exam is 45 minutes. Hence, during the practice tests or mock tests, candidates must complete it within time.
Identify and Avoid Distractions
Candidates with strong willpower sometimes do fail in spending their time meaningfully for the preparation due to distractions. The smart way to overcome this problem is to identify the distraction first and avoid them. Distraction may vary from person to person. For some of them, spending time on social media platforms or chatting with friends, or watching videos could be the distractions. By identifying distractions, half of the problem is solved. The rest half is to avoid them completely until the examination gets over. By doing so, we utilize can the time to improve our subject knowledge and gain more.
Practice is as important as Preparation. Candidates must write a few CUET mock tests/sample papers/ solve the previous year's paper every day. By writing them, candidates will be able to understand the type of questions asked in the examination and improve their accuracy. After every test, students must evaluate their performance and correct the mistakes or get the concepts correct. Practice brings familiarity with the concepts and what is learned can be assessed.
It is very important to take short breaks between long hours of study or preparation. The mind needs relaxation and recreational time to rejuvenate energy to focus. Students must include the short breaks during the hour-wise schedule. Short breaks are mandatory to regain focus and make the preparation effective.
Maintain Healthy Diet
Candidates are advised to take healthy food and maintain good health because health is wealth. Students must take enough rest and nutritious food to keep them healthy, which is very important to give the best shot in the examination. Fewer hours of sleep, not eating, or eating less will yield health complications. Hence, candidates must take a healthy diet and take enough rest.
