MAT 2026 cutoff for MBA/PGDM admission will be released by MAT 2026 participating colleges after the announcement of MAT results 2026 to shortlist candidates for the GD and PI rounds. The December session cutoffs for the PBT & CBT exams will be made available in the third week of January 2026 since the results will be made available in the second week of January 2026. The September session result for the MAT 2026 exam was released in the second week of October 2026 and the cutoffs were made available by the 3rd week of October 2026. The results for the July session were released on July 24, 2026, and the cutoffs were made available by all participating colleges by the last week of July 2026. MAT 2026 July session exam was conducted on July 20, 2026 (CBT).
MAT 2026 cutoff is the minimum score required by a candidate to get admission to an MBA college in India. MAT cutoff percentile for the top MBA colleges is 90-95 percentile. While some colleges consider the overall MAT exam score for shortlisting candidates for GD and PI, some colleges also consider the MAT composite score and the sectional scores of the candidate. Candidates may also be required to clear sectional cutoffs for MAT if their college requires it. If a college offers multiple management courses, the MAT 2026 cutoff will be specified individually for every course. Those who clear the cutoff will be invited to participate in the MAT 2026 selection process of individual colleges.

After the MAT scores are declared, the eligible candidates have to undergo a selection procedure that is unique for each MAT 2026 participating college.
