CLAT 2022 will be a highly competitive entrance exam, which means, that the probability of two or more test-takers scoring the same marks will be on the higher side. In such cases, the officials will face a lot of difficulties in deciding which test-taker should be placed higher in the merit list. To counter this type of situation, the national-level law entrance exam - CLAT officials have devised a tie-breaker policy, which will be used during preparing the CLAT 2022 merit list if multiple applicants are stranded on the same scores.
Here is how CLAT 2022 score ties will be resolved:
Those candidates with a higher score in the CLAT 2022 Legal Aptitude section will be placed in a higher position in the CLAT 2022 merit list
Candidates with higher age will be listed above the others
The system will randomly choose the name of the candidates from a mix of candidates with identical scores
After the results are announced, candidates are required to participate in the centralized counselling organised by CLAT authorities. Through this process, candidates are admitted in UG and PG programmes in institutions/colleges who accept CLAT scores.
