In short, accepting the second-round seat forfeits the first, but declining it allows you to continue with the first-round allotment. We hope that we were able to answer your question successfully. Dear Student,

The list of the vacant seats for the CSAB counselling is released before the beginning of the CSAB counselling. Therefore, the CSAB will not release the list of the vacant seats after round 1 for NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs. We hope that we were able to answer your query successfully. I got 52k rank in JEE Main 2025. However, I didn't opt for engineering counselling. Yet, I'm with NIT, I could have acquired ECE either through JOSAA or CSAB.

Dear Student,

With a JEE Main 2025 general category rank of 52,000, securing Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) at any NIT would not have been possible through JoSAA counselling or even the CSAB special rounds. The lowest ECE closing ranks for NITs in the general category are typically between 28,000 and 44,000, with the least competitive institutes like NIT Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, and Arunachal Pradesh closing around the 42,000 to 44,000 range. Even in CSAB, the relaxation usually does not extend beyond 45,000 for ECE. Therefore, with this rank, a general category candidate would not have been allotted ECE at …

Dear Student,

With a 60.3% score in your Class 12 boards, you are eligible for admission to many private engineering colleges in India offering BTech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE). Several reputable institutes like VIT Vellore, SRM University Chennai, Amity University, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Chitkara University, and others accept candidates with around 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, through entrances like VITEEE, SRMJEEE, JEE Main, or direct merit-based admissions. Additionally, many colleges offer management quota or direct admission options based on Class 12 results. It is important to verify each college’s admission criteria annually, but with your marks, …

Dear student,

The cut-off changes every year depending on the total number of takers & range of marks. If the total number of takers and average marks is similar to last year/s, then you can expect a similar cut-off as last year (plus minus 2-3 points).

AP EMCET last date for reporting and submitting original documents is 08/08/25, but the CSAB results release date is 09/08/25

Dear Student,

You are facing a reporting date conflict where you must submit original certificates to your AP EAMCET allotted college by 08/08/2025, but the CSAB Special Round-I results will be declared only on 09/08/2025. To manage this, immediately contact your AP EAMCET college, explain the situation, and request permission to submit your originals after the CSAB results, possibly by submitting an undertaking or a bonafide certificate temporarily. Carry proof of your CSAB participation and result date when reporting. If the college does not allow delayed submission, you must choose between confirming your AP EAMCET seat or waiting for the …

Dear Student,

Yes, it is possible to get admission to Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology with an 83 percentile in JEE Main 2025, especially if you are an OBC or EWS candidate. For general category candidates, the cutoff for B.Tech CSE can be around the 85-90 percentile. However, Galgotias also considers admissions through other means, including direct admissions based on board exam scores and other entrance exams. We hope that we have answered your query successfully. Stay tuned to College Dekho for the latest updates related to admissions, counselling and more. All te best for your great future ahead!

I have a rank in JEE Main 77 percentile and I applied to the B category of VNR College, and EAMCET rank is 98180. What a group can I get

Dear Student,

With a 77 percentile in JEE Main 2025 and an AP EAMCET rank of 98,180, your chances of getting top branches like CSE, IT, or Artificial Intelligence at VNR VJIET under the B Category are very low due to high competition. However, you stand a good chance of getting core branches such as Civil, Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering through B Category seats, as these usually have higher cutoff ranks and are more likely to be available. Admission will ultimately depend on the relative merit of all B Category applicants and seat vacancies after regular quota admissions. Stay tuned …

I have got 43% in PCM and I am OBC student can I get admission in b.tech course?

Dear Student,

It is unlikely you will be admitted to a B.Tech course at Sri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management and Technology (SSIPMT) with a 43% PCM score, particularly if you are an OBC student. While the minimum percentage requirement for OBC students might be around 45%, SSIPMT's admission policy, according to their website, specifies a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for Engineering, with a 45% minimum for OBC candidates. Furthermore, it is possible that SSIPMT may have additional criteria or entrance exams, which could further impact your eligibility. We hope that we have answered your query. Stay tuned …

Dear Student,

Your admission to KSIT depends upon several factors like category, desired course, seat matrix, etc. However, analysing the previous year cutoff trends, KSIT has offered admission above 90,000 ranks for some of the courses and categories. Therefore, there is a slight chance of getting admission with a 93,000 rank. We hope that we have answered your question successfully.
