I got 52k rank in JEE Main 2025. However, I didn't opt for engineering counselling. Yet, I'm with NIT, I could have acquired ECE either through JOSAA or CSAB.

The lowest ECE closing ranks for NITs in the general category are typically between 28,000 and 44,000, with the least competitive institutes like NIT Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, and Arunachal Pradesh closing around the 42,000 to 44,000 range. Even in CSAB, the relaxation usually does not extend beyond 45,000 for ECE. Therefore, with this rank, a general category candidate would not have been allotted ECE at any NIT in 2025, though chances could be higher for reserved categories.
