About CLAT 2026 (Application Form Out)

CLAT 2026: The CLAT 2026 application process is ongoing. The last date to apply for the entrance test is October 31, 2025. Eligible students will be able to submit their CLAT application forms online through the official website of the Consortium of NLUs. The CLAT 2026 exam date is December 7, 2025.

Previously, the official notification for the admission test was released on July 20, 2025. CLAT is a national-level law entrance exam conducted annually in offline mode (pen and paper-based). Through this exam, candidates are offered admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law courses such as five-year integrated BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB, BSc LLB and LLM. Apart from NLUs, several other Government law colleges in India accept CLAT scores. The examination is a comprehension-based paper where an individual's legal aptitude, skills, and knowledge are tested. CLAT scores are also accepted by top institutes such as NMIMS-Mumbai, UPES Dehradun, the Institute of Law, and Nirma University, Ahmedabad.
