M.Tech Application Form through GATE Score
Candidates who wish to seek admission through GATE score must submit a separate application for various institutes individually, and register for centralized counselling process for M.Tech admission in various states. Example 1: Candidates who wish to get admission in M.Tech course offered by various colleges in Tamil Nadu can register for the same through GATE score. Even though TANCET is the state-level exam for M.Tech admission in Tamil Nadu, GATE score is also accepted for the same. All that the candidates need to do is just register for the TANCET counselling process. While registering for the same, the candidates need to fill their GATE Roll Number and score.
Example 2: Candidates who wish to get admission in M.Tech course in Karnataka can do the same with the help of GATE score. Even though Karnataka PGCET is the state-level entrance exam for M.Tech admission, GATE score is also accepted for the admission in various government and private engineering colleges across the state. All that the candidates need to do is to just register for Karnataka PGCET counselling process.

M.Tech Application Form for IITs
Candidates aiming for M.Tech admission in IITs will have to register individually with each IIT through its official website. However, the admission offers shall be made through the COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal). Usually, the M.Tech admission process for each IIT begins after the announcement of GATE results (third week of March 2021). M.Tech Admission Process through State-Level Entrance Exams
Many states conduct individual entrance exams for M.Tech admission, and candidates without a valid score in GATE can appear for their respective state-level entrance exam.
