NMAT 2017 - Application Steps

Create Login ID
  • Create an account on an official website using a valid email address.
Completing the Online Form
  • Provide contact information, personal, educational and work experience, the list of programmes to send scores and the ID that you will use at the test centre.
  • Indicate your interest in participating in a search service and agree to the terms and conditions.
  • Your name and date of birth that you enter on the registration form must exactly match the name and date of birth on your primary and secondary ID.
  • Choose the schools to send your scores under the "Schools Preference" section. Up to 7 programmes are included in your registration fee.
  • An additional fee of INR 200 + applicable taxes will be applied for each programme added in excess of 7 programs.
Uploading Scan Copy of Documents
  • You must upload a photograph that bears a likeness to you and the photograph on your primary ID.
  • This photograph will be included on the admit card that you must bring.
Payment of Fees
  • Pay the test fee.
  • Once your payment is realized, your schedule exam option will be activated in your dashboard, so that you can go ahead and schedule your exam.
Downloading Registration Form
  • You will be able to download your admit card from your dashboard once the payment is realized.

Eligibility for NMAT 2017

To be eligible to receive NMAT by GMAC scores, you must

Be a degree-granting institution that offers graduate-level programmes in business and/or management. Management programmes are not limited to schools of business. For example, a health management programme in a school of public health or an arts management programme in a school of arts and sciences may be eligible to receive NMAT by GMAC scores.

Be accredited or approved by an authorizing body for which your institution is authorized to provide higher education to a governmental body or ministry/department of education that authorizes your institution to grant degrees or diplomas.

Agree to accept the NMAT by GMAC exam as an admission criterion.

 

NMAT RESERVATION POLICY

Reservation of seats for the widows / wards of armed forces personnel killed / disabled in action or during peace time and wards of Kashmiri migrants will be applicable provided such candidates successfully meet the specified cut-offs and eligibility criteria of the respective program /s applied for at the time of registration and also qualify the NMAT Test cut off.

NMAT 2017 Important Instructions

On test day, arrive at the test center at least 45 minutes prior to your test appointment. Please bring the following documents with you:

  • Confirmation email printout

  • Admit Card: Candidates are required to download their NMAT by GMAC Admit Card from the official website of NMAT

  • One valid primary ID and another secondary ID in original form must be presented from the list below:

ID Requirements

  • List of primary IDs (containing your name, photo, and signature)

  • Passport issued by the Government of India

  • PAN Card issued by the Government of India

  • Voter's ID Card

  • UID/Aadhaar Card

List of Secondary IDs (containing candidate name and signature)

  • Passport issued by the Government of India

  • PAN Card issued by the Government of India

  • Debit/Credit Card

  • Driver's License

  • One photocopy of the primary ID for submission at the test center.

NMAT 2017 Relaxation Policy

Reservation of seats for widows / wards of Armed forces personnel killed /disabled in action or during peace time and wards of Kashmiri migrants will be applicable provided such candidates successfully meet the specified cut-offs and eligibility criteria of the respective program/s applied for at the time of registration and also qualify the NMAT Test cut off.
