The GUJCET 2019 counselling schedule for admission to the B.Tech and B.Pharma programmes offered in the state of Gujarat will be released soon. The schedule for counselling will be announced on the official website of Commissionerate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).
Candidates have to first register themselves online on the official website of ACPC (gujacpc.nic.in) in order to participate in the GUJCET 2019 counselling. The registrations for the same will begin in April 2019 and the last date of registration will be in May 2019.
After the candidates registered for the counselling process, the GUJCET 2019 mock counselling will be held in June 2019 for giving test takers an idea about the process prior to the commencement of the actual procedure. The actual GUJCET 2019 counselling process will be carried out in the third week of June 2019.
Candidates first have to pay the counselling fee. After paying the counselling fee, the candidates get a PIN.
The candidates must remember that they need to collect the information booklets with a 14-digit PIN code. The PIN code will help the candidates register for the counselling process. The candidates must use the PIN code for exercising the choice also.
After filling the online registration form for GUJCET counselling, the candidates must take a printout of the application form. Take all the mandatory documents and visit any GUJCET center. Submit the online registration form for counselling along with important documents. Initially, the candidates have mock counselling followed by first and second phase counselling process.
The counselling registration fee is Rs. 350, and the candidates have to pay the fee at any Kotak Mahindra Bank branch across the state. Collect the PIN after paying the fee.
Initially, the mock counselling is done, and the final merit list is announced by the authorities. Only those candidates who are in the final merit list are able to take part in the counselling process.
After the seat allotment process is over, the candidates have to confirm their admission by paying the tuition fee.
1. How is the counselling of GUJCET conducted?
The counselling is conducted in online mode only.
2. What all documents are needed for the first time online counselling registration for BE/B.Tech.?
For online registration, candidates need the following documents:
Latest HSC mark sheet
GUJCET exam scorecard.
3. If the seats in reserved quota are full, can the candidate from SC/ST/SEBC/PH/ESM/get admission in Open category?
This question does not arise because category candidates are allotted first in open category seats. If the seats are not available, then only reserved category seats will be allotted.
