Can you please explain to me the detailed admission process of Madras University?

Dear student, to apply for admission into the Post-Graduate, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Courses offered at Madras University, you must follow the steps given below - 

  1. First, go to the official website of the university with the help of the link - https://www.unom.ac.in/#

  2. While the university homepage loads, a pop-up message containing the admission application link will appear which you have to click

  3. Thereafter, you will find our various links such as Download Prospectus, General Instructions, SBI Online Payment and Online Payment Procedure. You must click on the “Download Prospectus” link to find out the eligibility criteria of the course into which you are seeking admission 

  4. Then click on the “Apply Indian Candidate” (assuming you are staying in India currently, otherwise click on the “Apply Foreign Candidates/NRI link) 

  5. Read the instructions for filling the online application form now and check the radio box below and click on the “Proceed” button

  6. Click on the “New Registration” link

  7. Provide the following details - Name, date of birth information, email address, mobile number, native state and community information

  8. Click on the “Get OTP” link, enter the OTP and click on the “Register” tab

  9. Now, use your registered email address and password (date of birth) to log in and start filling out the online application form
