The Xavier Institute of Management General Management Aptitude Test (XGMT) is a university-level MBA entrance exam conducted by XIM University, Bhubaneswar. X-GMT is conducted in online mode to provide admission to various Master's degree programmes like MBA in Business Management (MBA-BM), MBA in Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM), MBA in Rural Management (MBA-RM), MBA in Sustainability Management (MBA-SM), MBA in Urban Management & Governance (MBA-UMG), Master of Management Studies (Business Finance) [MMS-BF], and Executive MBA in Business Management (EMBA-BM). XGMT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must fulfill the criteria listed below in order to be qualified for X-GMT 2024:

  • It is mandatory for the candidates to hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any discipline from an accredited university.

  • For the MBF (Master of Business Finance) programme, a minimum aggregate of 60% is necessary, while all MBA programmes require a minimum aggregate of 55%.

  • Candidates who are currently enrolled in the last year of their undergraduate programme are also eligible to apply.

  • Candidates can apply directly to the MBA-RM and MBA-UMG programmes without having a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/XGMT score if they have obtained the first, second, or third rank in their undergraduate programme.

  • A certificate stating the candidate's position from the Head of the Institution must be attached to the application. However, the applicant will be required to appear for the Personal Interview round.

  • Admission of the candidates will be automatically revoked if they don't fulfill all the requirements for obtaining a degree by June 15, 2024.

  • A candidate cannot sit for an exam administered by another organization or university after enrolling in a programme at Xavier University.

XGMT 2024 Application Form

To take the exam, X-GMT candidates must submit an online application for X-GMT 2024. Candidates must pay Rs. 1600 for the first programme and Rs. 800 for successive programmes if they have a valid CAT, XAT, or GMAT score card. Candidates who intend to take the X-GMT in 2024 must pay an additional application fee of Rs. 1200. You can use Net Banking, a credit card, or a debit card to pay the XGMT 2024 application fees.

XGMT 2024 Exam Pattern

The X-GMT 2024 exam pattern refers to the number of sections, mode of the exam, and marking scheme. 

Mode: The mode of the exam is online. XIM University is responsible for conducting the Xavier Institute of Management General Management Aptitude Test as a Computer Based Test. 

Duration: The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. 

Number of sections: There are four sections: Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA & LR), Data Interpretation (DI), Emotional Quotient and General Awareness (EQ & GA). 
The four sections will appear in a random sequence. Sectional time limits are there in the XGMT 2024 exam, which implies a candidate is required to complete a section within a stipulated time. If a situation arises where a candidate has completed a section early, it is mandatory for him/her to wait for the next section to begin. The candidate will not be allowed to go back to the already completed section. 

Type of questions: There will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the X-GMT 2024 question paper.

Language of question paper: The X-GMT question paper 2024 will be in English language only.

Marking Scheme: +3 marks are awarded for one correct answer.
                                1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
                                No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.

XGMT 2024 Admit Card

XGMT admit cards 2024 will be issued on January 20, 2024, to those who have successfully registered for the exam. Prior to the exam day, candidates can go to the XIM University, Bhubaneswar, official website to download their admit cards. The admit card of X-GMT exam includes a candidate’s roll number, exam center, exam date and timing. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the XGMT 2024 admit card along with other documents mentioned on the admit card to the exam center, on the day of exam.

Candidates must go to the Xavier University, Bhubaneswar, official website, xim.edu.in, and log in using their X-GMT credentials (user ID and password), which were created during the application process. After logging in, they will be led to the option for downloading the admit card. Applicants must download the X-GMT Admit Card 2024, take several printouts, and keep them safe until the admissions process is complete.
