After completing your B.Sc in Biotechnology, you can either work towards securing a job in the government sector by appearing in competitive exams such as SSC, UPSC etc.

On the other hand, you can also pursue a masters degree in Biotechnology if you wish to take up higher studies. After completing your masters degree, you can appear for UGC-NET exam and even start working as a reserch fellow or lecturer at universities across the country, if you clear the exam.

Sectors in which you can later work include textile, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, research laboratories, chemical industries, agricultutal industries etc.
