Government Polytechnic Pune is an autonomous institute in Pune, Maharashtra, India. It was established in 1957 and gained academic autonomy in May 1994. The institute offers diploma courses in engineering and technology. The institute has a sprawling campus of 28 acres (11 ha) in Ganeshkhind, Pune. The campus has well-equipped laboratories, workshops, a library, hostels, and sports facilities. The institute also has a placement cell that helps students secure jobs after graduation. Government Polytechnic Pune is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE). The institute is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
