You can also find security guards everywhere on the campus for your security. The hostels of LPU are most comfortable and damn strict. Some of the facilities that are given in the hostels of LPU are Bed (Iron or Wooden Box), Almirah,Plastic Chair,Study Table,AC/ Cooler (As Applicable),Geyser,Attached Washroom,Mess Facility. In the LPU, there are 17 multi-story hostels, including luxury apartments. Each hostel has its own entrance and exit, as well as a mess, a tuck shop, and dedicated wardens and maintenance staff. In addition to all the amenities in the LPU Hostels, there are a few rules and regulations for reasons of safety and security. One of the biggest residential services in India is LPU. There are rooms ranging from Standard Rooms to Apartments and students can opt for accommodation as per their convenience and choice. The Hostels are major of three types: 1. Standard Rooms Standard Rooms are lodges like the arrangement where students can live in a shared 4/3/2/1-seater room with an option of having Air Cooled or Air-Conditioned Ventilation. Standard Room Charges: LPU provides 4/3/2/1 seater apartments with several facilities to its students. Non- AC rooms will have Air Cooler installed in each room. Students can avail of the mess plan two days prior to the start of the academic session and will be required to leave it within two days after regular exams. For availing Mess Plan after the end of academic session for any purpose like summer school/ reappear examination/ make up examination/ PEP/ EEP classes etc., additional proportionate charges for mess and its administration will have to be paid by the student, subject to the availability and permission for mess plan.

LPU campus is a mini city in itself. There is an electricity backup and water supply. In addition to it, staff assistance and medical service (Medicines and tests On Payment). Study Room, TV Room, Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility, Maintenance Services, Wi-Fi Service, Free Electricity Units (As Applicable). There are 24 hr. electricity backup Water Supply, and services available. There are mess services, laundry services, dedicated parking, departmental store, cafeteria, saloon for boys, printing and copier machines, shops in all hostels, Guest Rooms, Car Wash Facility, Shopping Mall, and Tuck Shops. You name it and you have it. Food: From ala carte to regional mess, the LPU hostel has all. It has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthani, and many other regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of food is good. Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea are served at breakfast. At lunch, Dry Vegetables, Dal, any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati, and Raita are served. In dinner Chapati, Seasonal Vegetables, Rice and Desserts are served. Rooms: LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the Ac and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per month. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box Bed, Study Table, Chair, and Almirah. Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets having a maximum load of up to 5 amperes per apartment. One and two Seater apartments have attached lobby and kitchenette. Safety : The security of the students is not compromised inside the residential facilities of LPU. The hostels are state of the art. Huge army of security personnel has been deployed all over the campus who keep a round-the-clock vigil. The campus is ragging-free, drug-free, and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can complain. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest. The female guards are deployed in the girls' hostels. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girl's hostel. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline. This is the reason why we don't come across any untoward incidents.
