What is Lateral Entry admission?

Lateral Entry is applicable for diploma holders of duration 3 years which is approved by Govt. norms. There are many colleges that conduct their own lateral entry engineering entrance exams for admission. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission via Lateral Entry is:

• Class X pass
• Minimum 3 years of Diploma or Certificate course in Engineering
