Visual communications education will provide knowledge in the areas of cover illustration, graphic design, art direction and animation. With a degree in visual communication design it's possible to become a graphic artist or a multimedia artist and animator. Visual communications courses include studies in the field graphic design, business and multimedia design. Entry-level positions in these fields may be possible with an associate's degree, although most employers require a bachelor's degree.

The field is new in India and there are only a few colleges offering courses in this field. However, job opportunities are bright if the course if completed with good grades and academic performance.
