BPT is a Bachelor of Physiotherapy program and approved by IAP (Indian Association Physiotherapist). The duration of the program is 4.5 years that is 9 semesters. LPU BPT course includes International Exposure options. Students can visit USA/European countries for 4 weeks. The total number of seats available for this program is 90. The 4.5-years BPT program curriculum offers mainly more than 25 types of courses. This includes Clinical Education, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Medical Terminology, and more. LPU BPT subjects provide opportunities for independent studies and project courses during the final semester. Placements • This year around 75 percent of the students got the placement. • The BPT students have got the highest package of 42 Lakhs. But this time due to the pandemic they got the average package that is 2 to 3 Lakhs. • The Health Insurance companies, Rehabilitation centers, Hospitals, and Home Visits, and Nursing homes visit this campus for BPT. • Maximum roles offered by the companies were Physical therapists, Interns, Sports Physiotherapy and Critical Caregivers,Aims, Fortis, Sarvodaya, Apex hospital, Government Hospital, Dhingra Hospital, LPU OPD, Jalandhar OPD, Phagwara OPD, and LPU Facilities.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy or BPT is an undergraduate programme that deals with the structure of the human body. The duration of this course is four years and once the duration of the programme is over, students are required to complete a six months internship. LPU BPT is approved by IAP ( Indian Association of Physiotherapy), moreover LPU has its own hospital in which you can have practical knowledge of the same. This builds up the confidence of the student and make them more familiar with their work. LPU also has a good placement cell of this department which is not at all fake. Students can attain positions in sports training centres, health and fitness centres, hospitals, physiotherapy & rehabilitation centres, spastic societies and special schools. Opportunities also include pursuing higher studies in reputed universities in India and abroad. Students can also avail jobs in health insurance and medical coding companies. Strong emphasis is laid on the theoretical and practical aspects of physiotherapy and healthcare through courses on clinical. LPU has art labs such as such as orthopaedic physiotherapy, general medicine, electrotherapy, neurology provide hands on learning to the students. Full term internship in reputed hospitals and multi-speciality hospitals orients students with the real time work atmosphere and helps improvise their professional skills required to establish themselves as physicians and consultants. A team of 15 students and 4 doctors from LPU remained on duty for the entire duration of camp wherein more than 60 patients were treated for various physical ailments. LPU provide the innovative and practice based teaching to the students. Workshops, Guest Lectures, Clinical Training, Physiotherapy camps and Lab experiments enrich the practical knowledge of student.
