Sir currently I am in class 12. Can I join B.Des in NMIMS?

The School of Design at NMIMS Mumbai offers a four-year B.Des in Humanising Technology programme. As per the NMIMS Mumbai eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible for admission to this programme. As you are studying in Class 12 right now, you must focus on securing 50% marks in the final board exam to be eligible to apply. 

However, applicants also need to take the NMIMS DAT exam as a part of the NMIMS Mumbai B.Des selection process. NMIMS DAT comprises three sections - studio test, portfolio submission, and personal interview. The university prepares the NMIMS Mumbai B.Des merit list based on a student’s performance in all the rounds of the NMIMS DAT for final admission. Students must note that applicants with a valid UCEED score are exempted from the studio test. However, they must appear for the portfolio submission and personal interview
