Onam began her academic journey by completing ICSE and ISC from The Central Modern School and St. Stephen's School, Kolkata. She holds a Bachelor's in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of Calcutta, a Master's in English from Rabindra Bharati University, and a B.Ed. from The University of Burdwan. Additionally, she earned a PGDM in Journalism and Mass Communication from IGNOU.

Her foot-in-the-door was in 2016 as an Assistant Teacher at a private school in Kolkata. Over the years, she has served as a Teacher/Educator in both CBSE- and ICSE-affiliated schools, gaining valuable experience in academic instruction and classroom management.

The pandemic transitioned her role from lesson planning to content writing. She stepped into a digital marketing company as an English Content Writer in 2020. With 5+ years of experience, she specializes in crafting SEO-driven content through research, analysis, and strategic planning. Her skills include writing original and engaging content across various formats such as blogs, articles, and web pages, while effectively managing Google Docs,Sheets, and collaborative tools. With a unique blend of teaching expertise and content creation experience, she brings a creative and analytical approach to every project she undertakes.
