Piyush Dixit is an education expert for more than a decade. He has received Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from one of the renowned government colleges. He started his career with HCL Info System Ltd as a Network Engineer but going forward he also appeared in various competitive exams including Civil Services, PSC, SSC and Railways. He can relate himself to one of the most admired quotes of our great president Dr Abdul Kalam which states“ To aim small is a crime”.

During preparing for various competitive exams Piyush introduced himself as a mentor followed by a Content curator among students. Piyush has worked as a freelancer trainer and used to deliver lectures in various engineering colleges as well as coaching institutes. He used to share, and discuss his knowledge regarding Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Economy subjects. The range of aptitude subjects includes both Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) and CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) while the Economy subject was related to UPSC and State PSC exams. 

So far he has mentored around 5000 students from 10 states across India. Many of his trained students are working in top private and public sector organizations. Since his forte includes content creations as well as visual presentations through various social media videos to assist and help applicants prepare for various exams. So he also got an opportunity to share some of his knowledge on the Unacademy platform.  

After an exhaustive journey of travelling from one place to another, he has opted for a siting job that is content creation. During the start of that journey, he worked as an academic content writer with one of the esteemed Civil Services Institute Drishti IAS. There he used to compose the content for Civil Services, State PSC related material. Since he is bilingual, he also takes responsibility for converting papers into both English and Hindi language.  

After working for more than 18 months Piyush explored some other content-related opportunities like the creation of content for various skill development corporations. Going forward Piyush started working as Sub Editor with Careers360 company. There he handled a team of writers who used to write SEO-friendly articles, news, blogs, and off-page content for the competition domain. Along with writing content, he used to assist the team in the creation of YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram videos. One of his popular videos of IAS Salary has garnered around 6.5 Lakh views so far.

It's been quite some time since Piyush has been an integral part of CollegeDekho content team. He is leading the college pages team. His responsibilities include the writing of SEO optimized content in the form of articles, news, and blogs so that more and more students can be benefitted by reading accurate and correct information mentioned on the CollegeDekho website. Along with writing he also analyses the latest information that can add value to the students. He has developed a cordial relationship with his teammates and colleagues because he believes anything can be done or achieved if there is team spirit among one.

When it comes to hobbies the first love of Piyush is sports. He was a sprinter during college time and has received medals in 100 mt, 200 mt, and 4*400 mt relay races. Along with following sprinting, he follows every minute detail related to Cricket in general. He has a deep interest in Test Cricket (the best form of cricket sport). Besides watching and playing cricket he is a movie and web series buff. It is very rare that any new movie or web series remains unseen from him.
