Attested Copy of Documents
  • Attested copies of Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate, all Mark sheet of each semester/year and Internship completion certificate wherever applicable.
  • Attested copies of SC/ST/OBC/PH certificates and Domicile certificate for NE candidates.
  • Attested copies of Mark sheet of each semester/year professional examination.

  • Application Fee :
    •  Rs.1000/- (One Thousand only) for General/OBC/NE candidates and Rs. 900/- (Rupees Nine hundred only) for SC/ST/PH candidates

How to Apply for (PGET)-(SVNIRTAR) 2018

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETION & SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM

  • Download the application form (4 pages) and fill the entries. No printed application form is available in the Institute.
  •  Candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the filled-in application form & Demand Draft, before submitting it, for their personal records and future reference.
  • Application form is to be filled up neatly and legitimately. Please ensure to write address and Signature on the application form only in the space provided. Email ID and mobile No. is mandatory for future correspondence. The photograph of the size 3.5cm x 4.5cm must be against a light background.
  • Information required in the relevant boxes is to be filled in capital letters only and tick (√) clearly the required information in the boxes wherever provided.
  • Option for test centres filled once cannot be changed by the candidate. However, in unavoidable circumstances the Examination centre may be changed by Chairman-Cum-Director.
  • Please note that name, father’s name and date of birth should be as recorded in the 10th class or equivalent certificate. Any deviation may lead to cancellation of your candidature, whenever noticed.

CHECK LIST WHILE SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION FORM-

  • Completed application form with recent passport size colour Photograph, paste in the space provided.
  • All the particulars except Roll No. i.e. Candidate’s name, Age, Sex and Address mentioned in the Provisional Admit Card & Identity Card, must be filled up by the candidate clearly along with the filled application form with recent passport size colour photograph pasted in the space provided.
  • Two self addressed envelopes (size 11” x 4”) to be submitted by the candidate positively with the filled application form.
  • Attested copies of Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate, all Mark sheet of each semester/year and Internship completion certificate wherever applicable.
  • Attested copies of SC/ST/OBC/PH certificates and Domicile certificate for NE candidates.
  •  Attested copies of Mark sheet of each semester/year professional examination.
  •  Envelope should be super scribed with the name of course applied for.
  • Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- Rupees one thousand only) for General/OBC/NE candidates and Rs.900/- (Rupees nine hundred only) for SC/ST/PH candidate in favour of “Director, SVNIRTAR” payable at CUTTACK.

IMPORTANT: -

  • Duly filled application forms must be submitted to the address given below. Candidates are advised to submit the duly completed application form either in person or by registered/Speed Post only. The Institute will not be responsible for Postal delay or loss, if any, in the transit.

(PGET)-(SVNIRTAR) 2018 Important Instructions

  •  Medium of Entrance Test and subsequent teaching shall be English only.
  •  The candidates once selected in the course will have to deposit the course fee and caution money as per Institute norms. If a candidate leaves the course in between, due to any reason, the fee deposited will stand forfeited. However, caution money shall be refunded only after the completion of the course duration.
  •  Stipend may be paid during internship period as per rules prevailing at that time.
  • The Institute reserves the right to reject incomplete application form.
  •  The candidates should bring their original certificates at the time of counseling. Those who have deposited their original certificate in any other Institute/University/College/Organization should bring a letter from the Head of the Organization/Institute/college to this effect; Such candidates shall be admitted provisionally with undertaking he/she should submit the certificates within two weeks from the date of admission; otherwise, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
  • No correspondence or canvassing to influence the result in any form will be entertained in connection with PGET.
  •  The Institute is not responsible for non-receipt of application/enclosures within the notified date & time for any reason whatsoever including postal delay.
  •  The candidates should preserve Admit Card till the time of admission.
  •  The candidates should scrupulously follow the rules of discipline and code of conduct as framed by the concerned Institutes from time to time.
  • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Violation will attract severe disciplinary action by Institute and initiation of cases under IPC and Cr.PC.
  • Hostel allotment is subject to availability on year to year basis depending on discipline/performance of student.
  • The candidates admitted to hostel will have to follow the hostel rules framed from time to time and should maintain utmost discipline, decency and decorum in their behavior with the staff, co-workers, co-students.
  • No student is allowed to stay in the hostel beyond the duration of the course he/she is enrolled for.
  •  Students must attend classes regularly. Attendance should be maintained as per university norms.
  •  Any legal matter related to PGET- will be dealt under jurisdiction of Hon'ble High Court of Odisha.

(PGET)-(SVNIRTAR) 2018 Relaxation Policy

  • Reservation to SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per the Central Govt. norms. However, the candidates must appear in PG Entrance Test -2017 and qualify according to the minimum norms applicable to them.
  • The SC/ST candidates are required to submit certificate from appropriate authorities on the basis of which reservation is claimed. In case of non-availability of qualified candidates under one category (SC/ST) the vacant seats, will be interchanged from the other category (SC/ST), in order of merit.
  • No SEBC certificate will be accepted. OBC certificate (Non Creamy layer) issued in Govt. of India format only within one year as on date of counseling will be accepted.
  • Similarly in case of non-availability of qualified OBC candidates, the vacant seats, will be filled-up by general category candidates in order of merit.
  • One seat will be reserved for candidates from North Eastern State in each course i.e. MPT (1-Gen)/MOT (1-Gen)/MPO (1-Gen). This reservation will be provided to the candidates on roster basis from PGET-2017. In case of Non-availability of qualified candidates from North Eastern States, the vacant seats will be filled up with qualified candidates under general category (GC) in order of merit.

(PGET)-(SVNIRTAR) Application FAQ

1) How the selection is made?

Admission is based on the performance in the Entrance Examination held at Institute in the month of June-August for MPT/MOT. As per the Merit in M.B.B.S. examination for DNB.

2) When is the application issued?

The advertisement will appear in leading English and regional language newspapers in February/March every year and applications will be issued in the month of April/ May.

3) What is the cost of Application Form and Prospectus & how to make the payment?

  • From Counter at the Institute - By paying Demand Draft.Rs. 500 for General category and Rs. 400 for SC/ST/PH candidates.
  • By Post from Institute and other centres - Rs. 550 for General category and Rs. 450 for SC/ST/PH candidates. Only by Demand Draft drawn in favour of DIRECTOR, SVNIRTAR payable at Cuttack, Orissa.

5) The admit card has been issued but I am unable to login. What should I do now?

Not to worry, when the admit card is released the website crashes down due to high traffic. The conducting body will take the appropriate measures to resolve the issue.

6) If I do not take my test, will I be eligible for a refund?

No. Your fees will not be refunded in case you do not appear for your test as per your scheduled location, date and time.

7) What are the permitted materials I can bring with me to the test centre?

None. You will not be permitted to bring any personal items to the test centre, including but not limited to wrist-watch, cellphones, calculators, etc.

8) What is the minimum qualification/eligibility for the post graduate courses?

Pass in BPT/BSc. (PT) and BOT/ BSc (OT) from any recognised University for MPT and MOT.
