The TS EAMCET exam is primarily for students from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. As per the TS EAMCET eligibility criteria 2025, the candidates who belong to the Orissa state cannot appear for the exam. The candidates looking for admissions to UG engineering programs in Odisha will have to appear for the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination, commonly known as OJEE. Securing a first rank in the entrance exam requires rigorous preparation for the exam. The marks secured by the student were 150 out of 160, which is a very good score in the exam. As per the news coverage, Telangana scrapped 15% non-local quota; candidates from Andhra Pradesh will no longer be eligible for local reservations in colleges in Telangana. To be considered as a local resident for the TS EAMCET exam, students need to be a resident of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and meet the local and non-local eligibility criteria.
