Birla Institute of Applied Sciences offers BTech programs in various specialisations. For admission, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and 50% aggregate marks. Admission is primarily based on the rank secured in the JEE Main. Qualified candidates participate in the counseling process conducted by the Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun, to secure a seat at BIAS. Lateral entry into the second year of BTech is also possible for diploma holders.
