About girls hostel : What is the fee structure with hostel for girls

Hostel room in Lovely Professional University is available in 1 seater, 2 seaters, 3 seaters, 4 seaters and 6 seaters. Yes, girl’s and boy’s hostels are totally separated with each other. LPU offers Standard rooms , apartments and dormitories ( for male) and students also have options for choose (AC or Non AC) one seater, two seater, three seater, four seater, five seater standard rooms and fee structure is different for every room. For instance, Charges for Full Academic Session Standard room AC is Rs. 65000/- Standard room NON AC is Rs. 55000/- Students have an option to avail Mess Plan from the University or may manage on their own. Mess Plan may be offered in 3 different categories i.e. Standard Mess, Basic Mess and Ala Carte. Standard Mess-with four meals (North Indian/ South Indian/ Rajasthani/ Haryanvi/ Gujarati/ Eastern/ North-Eastern) Rs. 40000 Basic Mess- with three meals (without evening snacks) (North Indian/ South Indian/ Rajasthani/ Haryanvi/ Gujarati/ Eastern/ North-Eastern) Rs. 30000 Ala Carte- Student has choice of dishes Rs. 50000

Every parent invests their trust in the institute, for the safety of their ward, so it is the responsibility of the University to manage the student by imposing some rules. A student has to mark a biometric attendance while entering or exiting the hostel. Boys have more relaxations in relation to time duration compared to the girl. For example, Boys has to come back and mark their presence by 7 PM whereas Girls need to come back in the hostel by 6 PM. Security guards, cctv cameras all are for their security purpose. Keeping in view affordability for students, LPU has options ranging from dormitory to single seater rooms. It costs Rs 35000 to over 95000 for a year (ten months). Similarly for mess, a student is charged Rs 30000 to Rs 50000 per annum (ten months), depending on whether the student opts for basic, standard or ala carte mess. For example the fee for B Tech programs is Rs 120000 per semester. For B Pharm and hons programs too the fee is Rs 120000 per semester.
