For you to get admission to the BSc Microbiology program, you must have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. Most institutions demand a minimum percentage of marks in these disciplines, often between 50 and 60%. Some prestigious colleges may demand entrance tests, such as the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) for Delhi University admission.  Furthermore, several universities hold their own tests for admission to BSc Microbiology.

BSc Microbiology admission process includes:

  • Application: Fill out an application form and submit it to the college or university of your choice. This is normally done online.
  • Entrance examination (if applicable): Take the requisite entrance exam and achieve an acceptable score.
  • Merit List: Colleges compile a merit list based on your 10+2 scores (if no entrance exam) or entrance exam results.
  • Counselling: Attend counselling sessions, and you will be assigned a seat in college depending on your rank and preferences.
  • Document Verification: Submit the original documents for verification.
  • Fee Payment: Pay the necessary fees to confirm your entrance.

I hope this helps!
