I would rather recommend you to pursue Aerospace Engineering. There are some basic differences between Aeronautical Engineering & Aerospace Engineering related to course structure, prospect etc. I have listed down some of the difference as per my understanding. For Aeronautical Engineering : Programme Structure: - Fixed Scheme Primary Focus: - They work with aircraft that stay within the earth's atmosphere such as airplanes and helicopters. Covers Navigation, Metrology, Design of Airdromes, and public policy also for airports etc. Facts:- None of the IITs offer aeronautical engineering degree. For Aerospace Engineering: Programme Structure:- Fixed Scheme Specialization can be offered in (i) Thermal and Propulsion, (ii) Aerodynamics and Flight Mechanics and (iii) Structures and Design etc. Primary Focus:- A degree in aerospace engineering cover both: (i) aircraft that stay within the earth's atmosphere such as airplanes and helicopters. (ii) Aircraft that operate outside of the earth's atmosphere such as rockets, satellites, and other spacecraft. Does not cover much on Policy frameworks for airports, Design of Airdromes etc. Facts:- IIT Bombay, IIT Kharapur, IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras offer B.Tech and B.Tech-M.Tech (Integrated) programmes in Aerospace engineering. Job Prospect : - Aerospace engineering may lead to jobs with space research organizations like NASA and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) or with large aviation companies like Boeing and Airbus. Besides them DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation), CAD (Civil Aviation Department), NAL (National Aeronautics Ltd) and HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) also employ aerospace engineers. As alumni I must recommend you to pursue B.Tech. Aerospace Engineering program from Lovely Professional University only because of it’s innovative pedagogy, High end Labs, Workshops etc. Last Year (Till Date) Placement Record of Aerospace Engineering of LPU till date (In spite of present pandemic situation): Offered : 31 LPA(CODE NATION) was the highest salary package. Student also availed: 6 LPA(DELHIVERY) 4.8 LPA is the average salary package of the Batch till date Hope your query is resolved.

In Lovely Professional University B.Tech. Aerospace Engineering program is offered to students. Last Year (Till Date) Placement Record of Aerospace Engineering of LPU till date (In spite of present pandemic situation): 9.55 LPA (CABINET SECRETARIAT, GOI) was the highest salary package. Student also availed: 6 LPA(DELHIVERY) 4.26 LPA is the average salary package of the Batch till date Hope your query is resolved.

Aeronautical Engineering is a well-known branch of engineering that attracts students with an interest in airplanes and their mechanisms. It has two major and overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. Avionics engineering is similar but deals with the electronics side of aerospace engineering. To my knowledge, Lovely Professional University offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the major points one must consider while looking to pursue the B.tech CSE Course is as follows: 1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries. 2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on the campus. You don't need to go outside in case of any need such as food, hospital, indoor/Outdoor sports stadium, etc. 3. Highly qualified faculty. Many specializations are provided by the CSE department such as AI, ML, Cloud Computing, Data Science, etc. 4. Every year more than 90% of students placed for the CSE branch in many MNCs such Amazon, Code Nation, Infineon, etc. 5. LPU provides many scholarships for bright and innovative students. Impact Ranking 2021: LPU is ahead of all the participating IITs and NITs. It is among the only Indian universities to have scored a set in the top 200 global institutes in the Impact Ranking 2021 released by THE World University Ranking. Lovely Professional University has got the 101-200 bracket. Under the Impact Ranking, THE assesses universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is the third ranking released in this series. This year, THE claims to have assessed 1,115 universities from 94 countries or regions. Although you need to score at least 40% marks in the LPUNEST entrance exam to take Admission, if you will score good marks then you are able to get maximum scholarship benefit. LPU curates AEROSPACE Engineering not Aeronautical. Aerospace is a niche area, the skills required in industry are beyond the course curriculum of most of the universities. LPU has recognised this and developed the curriculum in consultation with the industry. It has even set up center for space research with mission control facility. https://www.lpu.in/FullNewsRelease/LPU-sets-up-Center-for-Space-Research-with-Mission-Control-facility.php LPU has set an ambitious goal of developing a satellite LPUSAT-1, which will be launched next year (2021) The Center will enable students and researchers to communicate with the International Space Station (ISS), download live satellite images, and receive telemetry, Science/engineering data from nano-satellites and larger spacecrafts The Center will act as a key facility in the field of space research for LPU as well as a virtual lab for Universities, Colleges and Schools in India and the neighboring countries of India When the research and education facility is at such level, I am sure that LPU is the right choice for aerospace. Do check you eligibility and further process at www.admission.lpu.in All the best DVD.

Eligibility to take admission in this course is to get Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE Mains. The university also gives us the opportunity to get real-life exposure through various training programs and an internship, which is mandatory for all. Professors go for value-based education which is something we as professionals would require in our career. Guest lectures by experts and some really successful people are arranged by our department to widen our scope of learning. The placements are exemplary. Many of my known alumni are placed in decent companies in different cities, while some are placed abroad, too. Industrial exposure is offered through in-house training programs. The university organizes many external workshops for us. The package provided by on-campus jobs is also satisfactory. University's environment is pretty decent with high-tech security. They also organize regular interactive one-on-one sessions with experts where we can discuss our views and share our doubts and problems.
