LPU B.Sc Agriculture admission 2023 is ongoing currently. LPU B.Sc Agriculture program is of 4 years is divided into 8 semesters. The program is available in both offline and online modes. LPU B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture program is focused on building knowledge over well-planned on-field execution and analyzing basic conceptions in production, yield enrichment, disease resistance, and improved shelf life of food and flora. Building professionals to challenge the dogma from seed to stomach. LPU B.Sc. Agriculture Eligibility Criteria The qualifying criteria for the program B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture are mentioned below: Qualifying the test LPUNEST and have a 60% aggregate in grades of: The candidate must pass 10+2 with mandatory subjects like English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, and Forestry. The candidate must pass 10+2 in Agriculture. A candidate must have a Diploma in Agriculture for 2 years after 10th Class. Various Electives are offered in Curriculum. These electives are mandatory for the program. Those electives are mentioned below in detail: Elementary Mathematics- This program tells the students about the sets, matrices and trigonometric purposes which are cooperative in tackling progress level mathematics. It gives vision to the essentials of single variable calculus. It will allow students to apply conceptions of derivatives and integrals to real-life circumstances. Introductory Biology- Biological education comprises the study of plants and animals. The present course information on the features of the living system, evolution, cell structure and function, cell division, the phylogeny of plants, the morphology of the plant system, and part of animals to the advantage of humans. Over 600 companies are regular to campus for recruitment offering anywhere between 5 lacs to 1 crore per annum. Agriculture, being one of the flagship programs in LPU attracts hordes of recruiters for various positions. Some great companies for recruitment are: Syngenta, Reliance Fresh, Dhanuka, Nestle, Amul, VLCC and Haldirams etc. So the placement scene for agri graduates is vibrant. At LPU , The tentative cut-offs for the scholarship are suggested based on the performance of last year's applicants. However, the cut-off may vary this year.
