B.Ed is a 2 year Programme in Education which aims at preparing Teacher Educators through CTET/STET and NET focused curriculum and experiential based learning. Specialization in either Elementary Education or Secondary/Senior Secondary Education if offered to the students. Lpu being among top 5 pvt universities of the country ,can definitely be a good option to go for..It is heard that the graduates of School of Education have proved their distinct competencies in academic delivery and LPU students are working in institutions like Ivy World School, A Pee Jay Schools, Young Scholar group, TeacherSity etc..LPU claims to provide several industrial visits,Inquiry Based Learning to promote intellectual engagement and develop higher order thinking skills,Experiential learning to build connection between concrete experience and theory etc which is a good and most effective initiative to enhance teaching skills. Dear student The eligibility criteria and admission process varies from the institutes to institutes. As i am faculty in LPU i can give you some details related to B.ed programs offered by LPU The eligibility criteria for the same is - "50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity/Commerce and ELR OR 55% in B.Tech/B.E and specialization in Science and Mathematics and ELR OR Any Other Qualification equivalent thereto (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelor’s Level / 2 Years at Master’s Level) " B.ed i a 2 years program and 4 semesters in it. its per semester fee is 50000. however scholarships are available on different basis. The admission process of LPU is hassle-free and the fee of the programmes depends on the programme you choose. The website will route you step by step for the whole procedure of admission there only. It will also tell you about the scholarship scale you will be eligible. If you are stuck somewhere, then there are counselors mentioned on the website who guide you.
