B pharma fees : Why can we get admission

The School of Pharmacy in LPU has a stellar placement record from many years. Some of the benefits that will be provided for pursuing the Pharmacy in LPU are: Full term dissertation course helps develop research aptitude in the areas of community health services and emerging pharmaceutical industry needs. The curriculum of this course lays strong emphasis on in-depth knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of ayurvedic pharmacy resulting in the Knowledge Enhancement. There are more number of workshops being conducted on Drug Regulatory Affairs (DRA), Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Computer Aided Drug Designing (CADD), validation and instrumentation's helps develop research skills in students. In addition to core curricula, course offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. Visits to near by pharmaceutical industries and research institutions as well as guest lectures from industry personnel are an integral part of the curriculum and develop research aptitude in students. The placement drives at LPU are highly efficient and successful, and I am saying this because one of my friend has done B.Pharma from LPU only and right now she is working with Dr. Lal Path Labs, LPU has tie-ups with renowned companies from different industries. If we talk specifically of B.Pharma the placement scenario of B.Pharma is getting better year by year. About 60-70 per cent students get placed every year with decent packages. A lot of companies come to LPU for placement, many of which are open to students of all streams. Companies like SmurAgro, Dr. Lal Path Labs, Capgemini, Google, etc. Come to the campus for recruitment of students. Most importantly, LPU makes students capable of getting placed in the best companies of different sectors. It helps them in developing their communication skills, aptitude skills, and the overall personality.

B Pharm. is an undergraduate four years course (approved by PCI) which is a prerequisite for registration to practise as a pharmacist. It imparts skills to work in industry, clinical setups, drug control organisations, education and research sectors in pharmaceuticals. The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Maths) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST Apart from imparting theoretical knowledge, the university also aims at cementing the practical side of the course. There are state-of-the-art laboratories. The outcomes of the program are Understand the nature and concepts of Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology Perform procedures as per laboratory standards in the areas of Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology Effectively utilise information, and technology to optimise learning and patient care The highest salary availed by LPU students was 6 LPA while the average salary was 3.5 LPA.
