LPUNEST is the LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test. This entrance exam serves the purpose of eligibility as well as a scholarship for the programs. For some programs, it serves both purposes and for some, it is just for scholarship only. For every program the pattern and syllabus are different. Being an alumni I would like to answer this query. LPUNEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme test is applicable only for scholarship.LPU NEST is conducted online and it is MCQ based test with no negative marking. The registration of LPU NEST is open Online and you can apply for the LPU NEST. LPUNEST is the LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test. This entrance exam serves the purpose of eligibility as well as a scholarship for the programs. For some programs, it serves both purposes and for some, it is just for scholarship only. For every program the pattern and syllabus are different. You can refer to the University website and prepare yourself by reviewing the topics and sample question papers. The difficulty level of the exam depends on your preparation. If you have made your best efforts in the preparation for the exam you can very easily qualify and even score much better to avail scholarship also. This exam is conducted to test your basic conceptual knowledge about the subjects that you have already studied in your 12th class. As the purpose of LPU NEST is different for different programs. Around 40% marks are required in LPU NEST in order to qualify it for Eligibility purposes whereas for Scholarship purposes, the cut-off is required to be qualified based on which Scholarship is applicable. Dear Student,

Almost all the questions in LPUNEST examination are based on Class 11 & Class 12 syllabus. You need to prepare the following subjects: -

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics / Biology

English will be also one of the subjects in the entrance examination. Therefore, you need to prepare all these subjects. You can find the sample question paper on the official website of Lovely Professional University or LPU.
