LPU BPT admission 2023 is open now. Admission to BPT at LPU will be done through the LPUNEST entrance examination followed by a counselling process. The last date to submit the LPUNEST 2023 application form is January 20, 2023. Aspiring candidates can apply online on the official website - admission.lpu.in. BPT is a Bachelor of Physiotherapy program and approved by IAP (Indian Association Physiotherapist). The duration of the program is 4.5 years that is 9 semesters. LPU BPT course includes International Exposure options. Students can visit USA/European countries for 4 weeks. The total number of seats available for this program is 90. The 4.5-years BPT program curriculum offers mainly more than 25 types of courses. This includes Clinical Education, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Medical Terminology, and more. LPU University conducts the placement drive every year. For BPT The placemats opportunities are not as good as other courses, and students still get placed in some of the reputed hospitals. This year around 75 percent of the students got the placement. The B.P.T students have got the highest package of 42 Lakhs. But this time due to the pandemic they got the average package that is 2 to 3 Lakhs. The Health Insurance companies, Rehabilitation centers, Hospitals, and Home Visits, and Nursing homes visit this campus for BPT. Maximum roles offered by the companies were Physical therapists, Interns, Sports Physiotherapy and Critical Caregivers. The top recruiters were Aims, Fortis, Sarvodaya, Apex hospital, Government Hospital, Dhingra Hospital, LPU OPD, Jalandhar OPD, Phagwara OPD, and LPU Facilities. In general, for the BPT course, the highest package offered was Rs 42 Lakhs and the average package offered is 3.5 Lakhs.

At LPU, Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants). The fee structure of the programme is Rs. 80000 per semester without any scholarship for the 2022-23 session. However, LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students based on good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement, etc. I recommend you visit the LPU website for more details of scholarships.
