Admissions are open in almost all of the universities at this point of time. For the security of the students online admissions option has been given to the students. In the situation of covid-19, lovely professional university is the one which has relaxed their eligibility norms. For B.sc. agriculture, the eligibility requirement is that a student should have passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 yrs. Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. Also, LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint to any individual. So they offer scholarship based on various categories. You can avail the scholarship based on your percentage in the previous qualification or even on the basis of LPUNEST exam or many more categories. Whichever will be higher that will be reduced from the fees of every semester. Well, Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). LPU provides the quality education by the well qualified teachers. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. University provides additional professional enhancement classes as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms.
