Dear student,
You cannot pursue a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) after a BSc in Agriculture. This is because students from non-biology streams are not permitted to enrol in veterinary science degrees. The majority of veterinary science courses require a strong foundation in biology, which pupils from non-biology programs might not have. The prerequisites for admission to these science-intensive veterinary science courses demand a high degree of proficiency in biology or related fields. Thus, a student with a BSc Agriculture cannot become a veterinarian. However, BVSc is a five-year UG degree programme compared to BSc Agri which is a three-year degree course after completing 12th grade.
