Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). LPU provides the quality education by the well qualified teachers. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. University provides additional professional enhancement classes as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Because of which lpunest is not compulsory for all the programmes. As for this programme LPUNEST works for scholarship purpose only. Here i am sharing the eligibility criteria of B.sc Hons Agriculture programme i.e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 yrs. Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. So it totally depends on your percentage and your subjects studied. Admissions are going on, to grab the opportunity apply without any delay. Hope this information helps.

Hi, One of my cousins graduated in this course from LPU and I will highlight some of the features. 1. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. 2. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. Ds and provide full support to the students. 3. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. 4. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. 5. University provides additional placement oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etcetera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. Thanks
