Hotel management is a glamorous and exciting career, highly popular among students today. Among the many impacts that globalisation has had on countless industries across the world, the hospitality and tourism industry has probably benefited the most. Jobs in Hotel Management include multiple areas of skills such as front office operation, food and beverage services, accounting and marketing. LPU’s Hotel Management program prepares the students through an industry-endorsed curriculum and intensive service-oriented practicals with industry exposure in excellent infrastructure. The eligibility for the course is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. The School trains its students in the campus hotel named University Hotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practise along with the staff. The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchens and bakeries are equipped to enable students to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gadgets. We have four training restaurants to teach students about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. LPU labs are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. The maximum salary the LPU students got this year is Rs 23 lakh per annum. The average salary is over 3.6 lpa. The Student going for the research option will have to study four courses as Open Minor or Generic elective courses and the final year Capstone project of the UnderGraduate program will also be associated with the research options. • Study Abroad • Summer/Winter School/ International Exposure:These Programmes generally happen in the summer vacations or winter vacations of the academic year. A summer/winter school/ international exposure is as form of educational Programme that offers courses, both academic and non-academic. • Semester Exchange:Gain a competitive superiority on your fellow students by spending a full semester at partner foreign university. The school also provides its students with training in the 25-room UniHotel on site, which welcomes both domestic and foreign visitors and allows students to work side by side with the staff.
