To be eligible for B.Tech programs at Lovely Professional University (LPU), candidates are generally required to have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. The key subjects at the 10+2 level typically include Physics, Mathematics, and English. For specific B.Tech specializations such as Biotechnology or Food Technology, subjects like Chemistry or Biology/Biotechnology may also be part of the eligibility criteria. These subject combinations ensure that students are adequately prepared for the technical and scientific curriculum that follows in their chosen stream. Admission to LPU’s B.Tech programs is primarily based on the LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test), which also determines scholarship eligibility. However, applicants with valid scores in national-level entrance exams like JEE Main or CUET are also considered and may even be exempted from LPUNEST. The admission process at LPU is comprehensive yet student-friendly, involving an online application, slot booking for the entrance exam, and participation in counselling sessions to finalize program and scholarship details. This streamlined approach allows students from diverse academic backgrounds to apply and begin their journey in engineering with strong academic and career support.

On the basis of your percentage 41% in 12th, I think you will not be able to take admission as LPU consider minimum 55-60% in 12th, so on the basis of 41% you will not be able to proceed with the admission. To get admission to a BTech program at LPU, you need to have passed your Class 12 exams with 60% overall marks. You should have also studied Physics, Mathematics, and English in your Class 12 curriculum. Alternatively, you can also qualify for admission by scoring well in JEE Mains or LPUNEST or CUET exams. If a candidate has gone to school in English or has studied a similar subject in their qualifying test but didn't study English as a specific subject, they may not need to meet the English requirement. Your LPUNEST test score will determine the scholarships LPU offers you. If your score on the LPUNEST is higher than the minimum required score, you may qualify for a large scholarship. Candidates from North-East states and Sikkim, as well as defence personnel and their dependents, and wards of Kashmiri migrants will receive a 5% relaxation. By completing all of these steps, you will have the opportunity to book accommodations such as a hostel, meal services, laundry facilities, gym access, indoor sports venues and more. You can get the services you need and then pay the fee. For more details, please visit the official website.

There are wide variety of other career options that you can think of where the merit may match. 41% in PCM group is very less for consideration as Eligible criteria for btech but I would like to recommend those who have valid and eligible JEE main scores then they could go for Lovely Professional University that offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the points why one must consider B.tech from LPU. 1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries. 2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on the campus. Every year more than 90% of students placed for the CSE branch in many MNCs such Amazon, Code Nation, Infineon, etc. 5. LPU provides many scholarships for bright and innovative students. The following rankings are achieved by LPU recently. Impact Ranking 2021: LPU is ahead of all the participating IITs and NITs 6. Choosing a university is a big decision and a challenging task, as our career depends upon that. All the universities are doing equally well, but here, I would prefer LPU. There are several reasons for the same. In a very short span of time, LPU has received several ranks and accreditations. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities globally as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). LPU has ranked among top-100 in the Overall as well as University category by NIRF-2020 rankings. LPU is a worldwide level University with fantastic placement records and world-class infrastructure. LPU has accomplished different achievements, like more than 700 tie-ups with national and global organizations for placements and internships. For example-Right from Google, Microsoft, SAP, Bosch India to Amazon India, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Cadence, Cisco, Lovely Professional University has the centers of excellence and tie-ups with many of the world's leaders and IT giants. And, this is how LPU ensures that its students are industry-ready and are accepted globally, in all streams. LPU has even tie-ups with companies like Upgrad, CompTia, GeeksforGeeks, etc for a few B.Tech specializations. Cutting Edge Courses in workshop mode are provided so that you get exposure which no one gets. Moreover, the placements are 100%. Almost all the good companies visit LPU like Microsoft India = 42 LPA, WorkIndia=35 LPA, CLOUDERA=31 LPA, Gameskraft Technologies = 32 LPA, Interview Bit = 31 LPA, Code Nation = 31 LPA, Media Net = 29.78 LPA, Amazon Software Development India Ltd = 30 LPA, Optmyzr = 24 LPA, Adobe Systems India = 22.3 LPA, Xilinx = 17 LPA, Infineon Technologies India Pvt Ltd = 13.75 LPA, National Instruments India Ltd. = 13.5 LPA, Informatica = 13 LPA with an average package of 5-10 LPA. Moreover, LPU provides study abroad options as well. LPU has reached heights by making extra efforts and is now in India's top universities. Thanks

For the admission to engineering courses, the minimum eligibility is 45%. However, for reserved categories, the percentage varies from 40 – 45%. However there are wide variety of other career options that you can think of where the merit may match. You can also think of taking a Diploma in Engineering first on the basis of class 10th percentage and post that you can apply for lateral entry b.tech course from any institution
