Dear Student,
JEE or JEE Mains is not the only criteria for admission to B.tech programmes. The foremost criteria is your score in class 12 board exams. Every college has different eligibility criteria. It is advisable that you go tho the official website of the colleges that you wish to apply and check out the minimum percentage required by the college for admission to various B.Tech programmes.
Most of the colleges ask for a minimum of 60% marks in class 12 board exams for general candidates. This percentage can vary depending on the college. Some colleges ask for 70% an plus percentage in class 12 whereas some ask for merely 50%. It is the descretion of the college to decide the minimum percentage for eligibility.
Also, JEE Mains is the most widely accepted exam but is not the only entrance exam basis which admissions to B.Tech programmes are done. Different universities might conduct their own exams.
Again you must confirm with the college website which entrance exam it accepts.
