Can I apply to government chitrakala college nagpur with 70% marks in boards ? Or any other criteria is required? Do I have to sit in specific enterance exam, if yes then what exam and when?

Dear Student,

Government Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya (GCM), Nagpur offers a number of courses at the undergraduate level. The UG courses offered by GCM Nagpur include Certificate, Diploma and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA).

As per your educational qualification, you are eligible for admission to each of these courses.

Please note that for admission to the BFA course at GCM Nagpur, you will have to appear for the MAH-AAC-CET. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission to UG courses in Visual Arts and Fine Arts in Maharashtra.

Registrations for MAH-AAC-CET are currently ongoing and the last date to apply is 23 April 2020. The exam will be conducted on 10 and 11 May 2020.

Admission to Diploma and Certificate courses are done on the basis of merit.
