Dear Student,

The 1-year Diploma in Disaster Management course at NCDC Nagpur is a joint venture by Mumbai University and Civil Defence Directorate is a course that is meant to provide training to civilians on how to handle emergency situations. However, this is not a professional course that is strictly mean for job production in the sector.

Please note that the scope of a career in Disaster Management in India is mostly limited to govt. agencies, NGOs and certain sector of private industries.
