You have not mentioned your academic background. What did you study in Class 12 - Arts, Science or Commerce? What did you study for your UG? So, in short, if you want to get into the management aspect of business or want to start a business of your own, you should do MBA. Don't opt for it because your neighbour or friends are opting for it. If you truly feel the calling, then you will be able to do justice to your course and your career. There are plenty of alternatives to MBA in today's market as well. All you need to do is explore.
