But we must also tell you that irrespective of what you have studied in the past, you can still do an MBA. You need to appear for the management entrance exams in India like CAT, MAT,XAT, SNAP, IBSAT etc., and basis your score, you will be eligible to apply to MBA colleges in India.
So, in short, if you want to get into the management aspect of business or want to start a business of your own, you should do MBA. Don't opt for it because your neighbour or friends are opting for it. If you truly feel the calling, then you will be able to do justice to your course and your career. There are plenty of alternatives to MBA in today's market as well. All you need to do is explore.
