I think you are talking about HITS which is a deemed university, but my point is why deemed, why not full fledged university which teaches you professional skill apart from the subject knowledge. Yes, I am talking about one of the best private university i.e. Lovely Professional University One of my friend took admission in CSE- LPU and she appreciated LPU on many aspects. Few days ago, LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Not only this, the Engineering institutes have also been ranked top 100 amongst all other Engineering institute which is a matter of proud. I can highlight some of the key features of CSE being floated by LPU. 1. Computer Science Engineering Programmes of LPU have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. The stress is laid on developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students.The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. 2. It is worth mentioning that LPU offers department electives in computer networks, artificial intelligence, databases and information systems as well as computer programming and algorithms. In terms of placements, more than 550 companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU.
