Hi there, yes a commerce student can apply for BCA program at LPU. LPU has designed the BCA program to impart knowledge on the basics of computer application and software development. BCA subjects include database management systems, software engineering, operating systems, web technology and computer languages. The program is designed to build programming skills for developing efficient and resource-optimised software/website/cloud/mobile applications. The eligibility for the course is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. The program provides an introduction to the fundamentals of Information Technology, Imparts knowledge on networks tools and techniques by understanding various existing wired and wireless networking models and protocols. The course includes Open Systems Interconnection communication model, local area networks, bridges, routers, and gateways, addressing, and local and remote procedures. Simulating the physical layer basics, network protocol algorithms, error handling, flow control, multihop routing network reliability, timing, advanced network protocols, and infrastructure, applications of high-performance networks. Computer architecture is a set of rules and methods that describe the functionality, organisation, and implementation imparting knowledge with a systematic way to create, retrieve, update and manage data. This course would examine the concepts and principles of DBMS, database design, data modelling, database management, data & query optimization, and database implementation. LPU provides skill on the system software for creating and managing database learning and how programmers create, retrieve, update and manage data. It provides knowledge of relational database models, manipulating data with an interactive query language (SQL), and database programming. The highest salary LPU students got was 36.5 lpa and average was 5 lpa. Dear,I am not aware Lakshmi Naryan college bhagwanpur,Being an Alumni of LPU,I am much aware about the university,The Eligibility Criteria of the program is 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. BCA program is designed to build programming skills for developing efficient and resource optimized software/website/cloud/mobile applications.The curriculum is revised occasionally to keep students up-to-date and industry ready. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Also the University put efforts to instill knowledge in the major areas of computing such as Programming, Databases, Web Development and Mobile Phone App Development. To develop expertise in the interdisciplinary areas of interest, minor electives like Management and ECE are being given a choice to students. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. are an integral part of the curriculum. Salient features of the course are Projects, Contemporary Curriculum, Interdisciplinary Minors, Industrial Visits, Holistic Development, Professional Enhancement, Software Skills, Industry Immersion, Students have instant access to the latest technology labs like iMac, SAP, etc. BCA Course at LPU is designed to build programming skills for developing efficient and resource-optimized software, website, cloud, mobile applications. Dear student, according to the new norms set by AICTE, students do not have to be from a science background to get admission to the BCA programme. So you can get admission to Lakshmi Narayan College Bhagwanpur BCA course as long as you pass the required eligibility criteria and selection process. Thank you.
