There are lot of College and universities which are doing great in agriculture studies but as per my expert LPU is one of the best choice for agriculture programme. Lovely Professional University is first private university accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. No other private university has this accreditation. LPU is one of the great place for education where the management actually believe on actions rather than words. Whatever they promised they delivered to us along with in campus placement at good package and best time of life. The Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent.

Hi there, Lovely Professional University is the first private university to be accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. As far as the program is concerned, the LPU agriculture program is designed with a target of the holistic development of students. School of Agriculture offers programs with an up-to-date curriculum designed to suit the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors. The laboratories of the School are world-class. The dedicated faculty gives the students hands-on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units. It includes disciplines like Agronomy, Horticulture Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Economics, Extension, etc. The major emphasis of the program is to get the students acquainted with knowledge and hands-on experiences in the above-mentioned discipline and apply that knowledge to high-value agricultural production in a sustainable manner. The minimum age required for enrolling in the program is 16yrs. Merit in qualifying examination LPUNEST, subject to eligibility criteria. Students are engaged towards evergreen agriculture, keeping in view the RAWE program to build interpersonal skills. The students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that creates an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. Emphasis on case studies and interpersonal-based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios are given.

In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Because of which lpunest is not compulsory for all the programmes. As for this programme LPUNEST works for scholarship purpose only. Here i am sharing the eligibility criteria of B.sc Hons Agriculture programme i.e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 yrs. Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). LPU provides the quality education by the well qualified teachers. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. University provides additional professional enhancement classes as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. Admissions are going on, to grab the opportunity apply without any delay. Hope this information helps.

LPU floats more than 250 programmes and B.Sc (H) Agriculture is the flagship programme of LPU One of my friend who is pursuing her studies from LPU told that LPU is the only private university which is ICAR approved. In order to take admisison, you have to be eligible. The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. If you have 60% in +2, you should proceed for admission.
