At LPU the fee is as per the caliber of the student. It varies with the student’s score and achievements in the previous academic record as well as their performance in LPUNEST. So, the University extends Scholarship Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. Apart from the scholarship schemes mentioned below, LPU also offers financial aid to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disability etc. or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel etc.Lovely Professional University launched LPUNEST Study Grant to benefit any deserving candidate from across the country who needs financial support for getting higher education.Under ‘LPUNEST Study Grant’ initiative students can avail financial assistance to study at higher education institutions other than LPU. Any deserving candidate who Qualifies LPUNEST exam can get a study grant of Rs.1 Lac for study education institutions like IITs/ NITs/ IIMs/ NLUs/ IHMs/ NIDs/ IITs (DoD/ IDC)/ IIITDM/ NIFTs OR can get admission to LPU programmes and avail scholarship of upto Rs.6 Lac. The basic fee of mechanical engineering at LPU is 1,20,000 per semester which get reduced by 50% to 60,000 if the candidate’s score in LPUNEST is Above the cut-off 1 or if he/she has 95% marks or above in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics). The scholarship availed by the candidate is applicable through out the course duration. And it is worth paying even this much at LPU because LPU has an impressive track record of academic, placement, entrepreneurship and related support services which have resulted in spectacular all-round achievements and healthy career progression of students. Not just self-acclaimed; Industry and the Neutral agencies have also ranked us LPU high on placements. LPU has a separate Division of Career Services that creates the desired placement and internship opportunities for students in the industry at national/international level.

Hi there, the fee structure of B Tech programs at LPU is Rs 120000 per semester. Youcan avail scholarship as well. The LPU offers a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc specialisation. The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. The course aims at enabling the student to Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, and computational skills and tools. He should have the ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology. He should acquire the Capability of building efficient energy conversion systems using a basic understanding of Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, and Fluid Mechanics. He should demonstrate the ability to propose cost-effective optimised solutions using simulated environments of Computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing, and computer-aided engineering. The highest salary package offered to mechanical branch students is 31 LPA, while the average salary is 5 LPA.
