For acting : I want college for acting in north side for 1 year whole acting course.

Dear student,

Most of the acting schools in India are located in Mumbai and Pune. However, there are a few in north India. Given your location preference & time constraint, the options are further limited. Acting courses can range from a  duration of 2 months to straight 3 - 4 years. Based on your requirements, you may want to explore the following options:

  • National School of Drama (NSD) - Delhi

            Course: 3-year course amounting to a PG diploma in Dramatic Arts

  • Anupam Kher’s, Actor Prepares - Chandigarh

           Course: Full time and part time course in acting

  • Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT), Noida 
    Course: 2 courses - a 3-month course and a 1-year course in acting
  • Delhi Film Institute, South-Ex, Delhi

           Course: 2-month acting course 

Barry John, Roshan Taneja & Subhash Ghai are some well-known names from Bollywood who conduct classes for shorter intervals of time. Although the main campus of acting schools run by them are located in Mumbai, sometimes they do conduct workshops in north India. You should keep an eye on their official websites for notifications from time to time.
